Il Gazzettino - December 2009

December 6, 2009

Uncovering a Medici murder… Deciphering Renaissance script… Following Bernini to Paris… Tracking down the mysteries of Venice… Featuring archival discoveries, fellows’ scholarly insights, updates from the Chair and President, and bios of our new board members, the recent issue of the Gazzettino illustrates the achievements in 2009 as well as the many of the initiatives that MAP has lined up for 2010. These include the Kress-Delmas course on Italian Paleography, the Mellon-sponsored new interactive database, the Medici Archive Society’s Venice Trip in April, and the generous financial support from American and Italian foundations.
